Mom, I'm Bored
It’s summer holidays and “there’s
nothing to do.” It’s hard to keep a young child
entertained with new and interesting activities. ![]()

The Best Part of the Gift is the Box
Every year you hear at least one person – if
not yourself – say “We spent all that money on the gift
and the kids ended up playing with the box!”

"I Want This to be my Best Birthday Ever"
This phrase echoes through your head and keeps you
up at night. Your child is of the age where he now “gets” the
whole idea of birthday parties: friends, cake, gifts, lootbags, “the
whole enchilada.”

"Hands On Project Review
Whenever packages arrive at our home everyone gets excited. Usually
they are for "Mom" and they are something she has ordered for "school".
Today was a package day.
Looking last week at a vendors list for the upcoming BC Homeschool Convention
I spotted a vendor called Fun In A Box Canada and I was intrigued.
Today our Sea Life in a Box kit arrived. The kit comes with the activities
and the supplies for two children. Both of my younger kids (5 and 9) were
excited to make a project. Our project today required paint, glue, tape,
a paper bag, googly eyes, and construction paper. What was great was that
all those things were in the box. Although the age recommendation is 3-6
the activities are things that would be interesting for children older
than 6.
The activities aren't things I couldn't think up
on my own, but it was sure nice to not have to think it up, plan it,
buy the supplies, and then help them do it. I will be ordering more kits
from this company, a definite two thumbs up."

"As research has repeatedly shown, children engage with activities that are challenging and fun, and avoid those that are boring or unchallenging. Fun-in-a-Box Canada offers exciting activities that build children’s cognitive, psychological and physical skills, and inspires joy for learning. Because the earliest years of life are the most critical for shaping lifelong learning patterns, providing children with enriching activities is the best way to maximize their development. Fun-In-A-Box Canada readily offers parents many educational activities that children enjoy. It literally is Fun in a Box!"

"The activities in the Weekly Kits and the Monthly Subscription Kits are fun and interesting for children to do, while effectively targeting the Learning Outcomes for Kindergarten and Grade One. Because the activities are relevant to the children's personal experiences, they capture their natural motivation and desire for learning."
